Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Tailwind Air, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to provide flexibility while maintaining fairness to our instructors, pilots, and other clients. Please review our policy below regarding flight lessons, discovery flights, and other services.
Cancellations & Refunds

Student- or customer-initiated cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson or flight to be eligible for a full refund or credit.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time may be eligible for a partial refund or credit at our discretion.

No-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable.

Refunds are processed to the original form of payment within 10 business days once approved.

Weather & Safety Cancellations
Your safety is our priority. If a flight or lesson is cancelled by Tailwind Air due to weather conditions, aircraft maintenance, or safety concerns, you will be offered the choice to reschedule or receive a full refund—no penalties applied.
Prepaid Packages & Gift Certificates

Flight lesson packages or gift certificates are non-refundable but remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Packages may be transferred to another individual with written notice and Tailwind Air’s approval.
Refund Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued for:

Partially completed flight packages once training has commenced.

Promotional or discounted flights.

Missed lessons due to late arrival.
